BROADENING THE RANGE OF INSTALLATION OPTIONS ON SITE

The FW design comprises just four components – a chord, post, diagonal rod and safety clip – and incorporates a choice of lengths to enable a wide variety of frames to be assembled.

The FW System’s span capability of 18 metres at 2.07 metre centres sits perfectly between Layher’s steel Lattice Beam 750 – which can achieve a span of up to 12 metres – and the Allround Bridging System (spans in excess of 28 metres at 2.07 metre centres), enabling users to specify the most suitable equipment more easily.

FW offers seamless integration into Allround structures. The components are located on the same system axes in all three directions. The versatility of the new Layher FW System is extensive with support, suspended, cantilevered and temporary roof structures, all readily assembled. This makes the system ideal for applications that call for rigid facilities, such as in bridge repairs, and for platform bridges where work is undertaken beneath the structure.
