Stairtowers
We have developed a choice of stairtower systems to match a wide range of application environments, for load bearings from 2.0 kN/m2 to 7.5 kN/m2. In all cases, the equipment adds an important dimension to scaffold installations – with safety and versatility at the top of the list.

Simplicity of assembly and the benefits of clear working areas are the defining principles of our stairtower range. Almost any application height can be installed to meet needs as diverse as lift shafts and compact spaces or site stairs and public access facilities. Rolling Towers
Safe, sturdy, simple to use and easy to assemble – the principal characteristics of every Layher rolling tower. Whether for indoor or outdoor applications, our PASMA accredited rolling tower family provides ready, versatile access for work at a range of heights whilst adhering firmly to our strong belief in quality construction and choice.

From our simple ‘Zifa’ tower to its large scale ‘SuperKlax’ stable mate, Layher rolling tower systems offer a choice of working areas and heights as well as a list of accessories to make every application as effective as possible. Single and double platform widths can be specified with, in all cases, adequate room for storage of tools and materials and freedom of movement seen as key considerations.

Tower heights to 13.6 metres and loadings up to 2kN/m² provide optimum access for a range of duties on both building facades and roof areas. Customers can even benefit from suspended tower systems and bridging beams between two independent towers to maximise access efficiency.

Construction is enhanced by a simple snap-on claw connection, durable braked castors, base extensions and a choice of access methods while, in all cases, Layher’s rolling tower systems dismantle into easily transportable and manoeuvrable components.  Download brochure.

Ladders and Steps
We also offer an extensive choice of ladders and steps with robust construction including steel, aluminium, wood – or even a combination. Ongoing development in this area has ensured maximum stiffness, stability and tread safety which are all key principles of each design, whilst durability – vital for such highly versatile equipment – is another fundamental characteristic.

Single ladders can be specified as can slide or rope operated extension options, and single or double `step-ladders’ providing step widths to 80 cm and spacings to 25 cm. Specialist variants including a range of trestles, telescopic ladders or `car-boot` designs that fold to extremely compact dimensions are all available as is a choice of accessories – from tools box fittings, suspended steps, gutter holders and wheels.
